and while I may be for the abolishment of prisons and against a robber being thrown in prison aslong as rupert murdoch or a banker remains free, I have realised lumpen people, not the unemployed but those purposely unemployed and engaged in criminality do not come together with workers and most of the time have contradictionary relationships with the workers, how can lumpen unite with workers when they steal off workers, mug workers, intimidate workers?

and thats why we are against workers fucking workers over and against capitalism and those ivdividuals who amass huge wealth through our exploitation. I find it really allienates workers when you act as though the shit the lumpen do is ok and they are just being oppressed too, people hate the fact lumpen have terrorised their streets, deal outside their kids school, burglarise homes, stab people, spray everything in the street.

People like ourselves who may have been part of lumpen and have alot of relationships with people who are lumpen need to recognise workers don't like being exploited and brutalised by the state, the boss or the hood and when we lay out things defending lumpen attitudes it turns them off any message about revolution we deliver.

This sort of tinted view of the lumpen is so indicative of the left and its frustrating.

my point is, there are lumpen people who do things not justified by economic disparity, rape, "paki bashing" and crimes of a non economic nature that victimises working people and creates a situation where they become an oppressor.

I agree though in general I am just pointing out some lumpen engage in things that even the majority of lumpen find abhorent.

For example, a heroin dealer started selling on a local bloack of appartments, even the lumpen came to beat this gy up and kick the shit out of him.

When I was lumpen I would rob and steal and things like that but never let myself asume the role of an oppressive force in peoples lives.
