Wow, dude, you're an ableist? Or are you ageist? Either way you're a fucking bigot.

I like you technocrats, because ya'll remind me there are people more irrelevant than I am.

Aren't you technocrats against imagination? Imagination sounds utterly un-pragmatic to me.

Now stop fucking up my rep.

  9. It was mandatory in college. It's very boring in and of itself. Mainly because it was written during a time when literary devices weren't that developed as they are now. The story telling is dull and dry. But it does give a glimpse into the times and the and interesting from a language stand point. When I read the sagas I feel like I'm reading Faroese (a similar feeling you would get as an English speak by reading Frisian or Scots) , not only have there been slight vowel changes but the means of production were different. They rode on horses, had engaged in subsistence farming, slavery and blood feuds.

In effect, advocates of the markets say to us: "You cannot cooperatively and self-consciously coordinate your economic activities sensibly, so don't even try. Just thank your lucky stars that even such a socially challenged species as yourselves can still benefit from a division of labor thanks to the miracle of the market system wherein you can function as greedy, non-cooperating, competitive, isolated atoms, but still get social results. Markets are a no confidence vote on the social capacities of the human species" -Michael Albert in Parecon - life after capitalism

Heimspekingar þurfa bara fuðra sértal sitt upp í venjulegu máli - málinu sem þeir sértóku - til að gera sér bersýnilegt hve sá talmáti er mikil afbökun á tungumálinu, að hvorki tal né hugsun standi ein og sér án samhengis, heldur séu úr daglegri hringiðu fólks runnin. -Karl og Friðríkur, í Þýsku hugmyndafræðinn

The question we ought to ask is how humans can alter their relationship within the means of production so that culturally, work as a popular conception is no longer regarded as a 'burden' but more the subject of our hopes, aspirations and personalities. - Dr. Mindbender.
