I haven't been in it in like a month and a half, I wanted to clean up my usergroup list, especially since most are inactive. It's kind of nice when you can just see them on the side without a wall of text. I figured discussions of the sort could be put in the Revolutionary Marxists usergroup. Also I believe Must Crush Capitalism is going to be asking you about the new model party and the new strategic line. He mentioned that he wanted some kind of united front with all socialist revolutionaries, but wanted to retain his views as a Marxist-Leninist; I told him that the new party can do all of these things, and he seemed interested.

I thought it was kind of funny, I will probably change it in a month or so to "Our Enver" where it will stay for the forseeable future. I've been doing intense research on the APL lately so it seemed appropriate, it has nothing to do with my politics, however.

Overall, your plan sounds very good; the only thing that made me wary was the "if the economy is planned and not market-socialism". How is Market-socialism doable? I don't think it's workable, even as a transitional system. Of course there is also the question on how exactly one goes about working a planned economy as well, which is a hurldle that will have to be overcome, but made easier with modern technology.

Random question: how come you have Luxemburg in your profile pic? Isn't she too left for you?

Good post about worker's control. I agree with that, and the material you sent me some time ago on the subject was helpful.

However, it's important to ask whether there would be any form of "control" at all, or as the buzz word these days seems to be "Workplace democracy". Otherwise it seems a bit difficult to see how issues like an oppressive management can be dealt with, unless you already have an alternative avenue imagined for such complaints.

I've also come to agree with you on the matter of the transitional form of the state. Too many people seem to have a strange delusion that after the revolution, commodity production and wage labor will somehow be able to be ended "overnight" so to speak.. this is one hurdle that I've never seen an anarchist adequately address(usually they persist in the notion that communism can be achieved over night). Personally I'm a fan of the idea of labor vouchers replacing ordinary currency more or less immediately.

"Anarchists can be divided into utopians, lifestylists, hooligans, insurrectionists, syndicalists, and political class-strugglists."

When did you devise this categorization? It seems pretty accurate. Isn't there a bit of overlap too? It seems like the first three have significant overlap with the rest.

Insurrectionism is really dumb.. has there ever been an attempted anarchist insurrection? That would be amusing. I'm not sure Spain or Ukraine could really count.

I hope you don't mind if I promote this 'three sectors' economic scheme (in my last message) from the name of "revolutionary marxists"?

I'll read through that. I also threw together a very brief and superficial outline of why I think Hoxhaists can sometimes be better than Trotskyists in the Revisionists group. I've read some of Hoxha's works and he at times maintains a much better strategic view than Trotskyism.

I'm not sure which quote you mean regarding the "Merger Formula". I have not read many of Stalin's works. Primarily Anarchism orSocialism, Economic Problems of the USSR, and a speech he gave in the late 20's to the CPUSA.

Bordigists do support partyism, they are not councilists. I have never not been a partyist, or Leninist for that matter.

Comrade, your pretty strong in your understanding of Revolutionary theory, I was wondering if you'd like to contribute to my thread in learning about Critique of the Gotha Programme and The Civil War in France, Thanks.

"A new centrist project does not have to repeat these mistakes. Nobody in this topic is advocating a carbon copy of the Second International (which again was only partly centrist)." (Tjis, class-struggle anarchist)

"A centrist strategy is based on patience, and building a movement or party or party-movement through deploying various instruments, which I think should include: workplace organising, housing struggles [...] and social services [...] and a range of other activities such as sports and culture. These are recruitment and retention tools that allow for a platform for political education." (Tim Cornelis, left-communist)
