Hi. Logisitical reasons. Though actually recently I replied to you in 2 other threads...for example the "Alan Woods at Eton" one. I commented on your definition of the petit bourgeoisie (at least, in the last peice of writing of yours I read), which I think blurred the difference between minor capitalists and petit bourgeois, when actually this difference is vital.

I ordered the German and Dutch edition (translated by Herman Gorter) of the Road to Power at university. They both pretend to be editions from 1909. I don't like to read abridged and edited versions when I can get my hands on the original.

There's a frustrating lack of Dutch translations of marxist works, especially works not adapted to the standards of stalinism. Important works of Trotsky were never translated and published in Dutch.

(edit) I see the German edition was published in Vorwaerts, which means it may not be the original.
