I was being half serious; I mean, I suppose the list could help if you encounter one of us Trots talking about "the IBT" or whatever, but mostly it was supposed to be a humorous jab at my own tendency. I don't know. I have a weird sense of humour.

Re: your earlier comment about inconsequential offshoots of Trotskyism and how it's impossible to keep track of them - fear not, some poor soul has taken it upon themselves to make a list. Well, at least a list of internationals, though they seem to be missing the "Fifth International" types. It still won't help anyone understand the differences between the, say, Morenists, and the Lambertists, but then again I'm sure only the Morenists and the Lambertists understand that.

Are they on bad terms with the CPC (ML) for some reason?

Any chance it could turn into an Avakian style thing with the leadership? That's the worse case scenario, but can never rule it out...

Hi how are you? You seem like one of the most politically educated Marxist-Leninists on the forum.

I almost joined the APL, but I changed my mind at the last minute mainly because it has no presence anywhere near where I live and it seems a little silly to have national pretensions when your party has only a few members.

Being from Canada, what was your involvement with the APL?
