I think everytime a person stands up for an animal it shows the person's character in protecting the weak. I think Gandhi put it like this: "You can see the greatness of a nation by the way its animals are treated." Whatever your opinion is on Gandhi, that is a great quote. That is one reason for doing it. I think it helps you whenever you are good to an animal it helps humans.

I don't support making it mandatory to wear hijab. I support girls who wear one in today's world, and I support the creation of a society where women no longer feel like they have to wear one, because men can see past a woman's body and not see them as a piece of meat.

No I do not, and Hoxha did not ban abortion it was the Albanian state and its party with a 40% woman membership, and you are a liar to try to smear them as ''sexist'' for doing so, it was to increase their population,(as the issue was not even relevant in this time period in Albania) and many people do not see the right to abortion as a feminist issue(why dont ya talk to PF on this issue) but an individual right just like a person's right to be religious or not and just because the Albanians did that does not mean I have the same views.
