Idiots are everywhere, it is hard to get around them.

If the protests are still going on in 1.5 months, I hope to be part of them. And I'm sure Istanbul is going to be great. I just hope my travel companions won't get scared from the protesting, they might insist on scrapping Istanbul from out route. What kind of bad stuff?

So you see kemalism as a Turkish variant of the dictatorship of the proletariat then, only to be followed by communism later on?

Do you mean western countries fund the PKK? If they did, that would probably not in the hope of establishing Kurdistan, as Turkey is also funded by western countries. It would be very contradictionary. As for Syria, western countries probably would like a most pro-west government in Syria, as recently huge gas supplies have been found under the Syrian coast, and Assad was not going to share those supplies with the west. As for the other borders, a war in Saudi Arabia, Iran and Pakistan would be required. That would be huge, and dangerous for international security, seen Pakistan is a nuclear superpower. How do you think that project would be executed?

Do you know what Turkish people see the revolts like? Do they see it as part of the Arab Spring, or do they see it more like an occupy of some sorts, or maybe something else?

In 1.5 months I hope to be in Istanbul myself. Whatever the situation will be like then, I'm sure it will be exciting.

    Yes, that's clear now, thanks.
So in what sense would a kemalist society differ from a marxist society?

I stumbled across that project before some time ago, but I forgot about it. It seems a very unlikely project though. The only way that could be realized would be a large war all across the Middle East, followed by America supervising the rebuilding of the Middle East and creating new countries. I don't see that happen any time soon.

Thank you. 2 of those words are unknown to me, namely Laizism and Etatism. I couldn't find them on google either. Could you tell me what those are?

Since Turkey has already been created, isn't the nationalist part outdated and unnecessary?

I can't think of any more concrete questions, but I will ask them when they pop up.
One unrelated question to Kemalism, you're Turkish, right? How do you think the ongoing revolts in Turkey will end?

Hello comrade, could you tell me a little bit more about Kemalism?
