That works for some American accents, perhaps, but many British accents clearly have an "e" sound at the beginning as distinct from the "ae" in "axe" - hence my point. The "e" sound isn't that widespread, but it's still there.

My current theory about English is that we could get by with only two vowels: a and u, with a y for most 'i' sounds. There are a few exceptions, mostly French loanwords, but I can apply this rule to pretty much any English word you can think of that is not directly taken from another language. I'm talking about all the bans that happened at that time. I can try to find out about Kleber if you want to, but my guess would be it was general 'shitstirring' and what I was referring to as 'subversive activity'.

Some of those members went to the red marx forums and took part in some quite hostile activity against the board. If that's the case, he would have to demosntrate he has changed and regrets it, in order to be allowed back,

Actually I didn't take part in those decisions. I wasn't an Admin at that time. I was however the Mod of OI, and the one who - completely unintentionally - got the whole ball rolling.

Disagreements with some members, who I regard as good friends, over my policies for OI upset me to the degree that I went offline for a while. Thusly I missed a great deal of the drama.

I never knew Kleber well.

thats nothing, we have had users that made literary dozens of accounts. And not to mention a certain "she who shall not be named" who went to bizarre lengths to get into to forum again and again creating completely new persona's with conflicting tendency's and elaborate back stories

Yeah, I avoided the English "community" because of its wildly nonspecific usage, and went with gemeinwesen meaning the community without alienation, where production is not a separate sphere of activity. Generally I only see it used in the anglosphere (mostly in translations of Marx and Camatte) in this context.
