Oh, and yeah I'm aware of that. However, when that's used as an excuse for using gendered insults (even ironically) that's not acceptable. See the last few sentences of this post for the sort of immaturity I'm referring to:

What our unfortunate comrade does not seem to understand is that, even when a female refers to herself using that epithet, it is still a gendered insult. When done ironically it is even worse, since one is essentially making a mockery of the sexism behind the word.
