I see that you were interested in the Bordigist group. As a maintainer of the group, i'm trying to keep it restricted to those who are sympathizers and those that follow. If you are interested in Bordigist thought, I maintian the Bordiga Literati user group. That is open to all. Just shoot me a message back. Thanks
  4. He outlined the WWP and the PSL (I belive) position, answering the question in the opening post of the thread, and attacked certain propagandistic claims made about the DPR Korea (as did other posters, including myself, most of who do not consider the DPRK to be a socialist state).

At present, the greater part of the proletariat in Europe and the Americas supports bourgeois dictatorships, including overtly militarist ones such as the USA. This will not change if we fudge our theoretical analysis in order to accommodate reactionary sentiment of the proletariat.
  5. Workers' states, deformed or otherwise, are not necessarily socialist. You should at least be familiar with the relevant terminology. Likewise, Leftsolidarity, at the very least, knows what socialism is according to the Marxist-Leninist definition.

You never mentioned liberals explicitly, but to who are we supposed to appear "credible"?
  6. The restricted poster really had no idea what socialism is; among other things they equated socialism with "no unemployment". And their posts were highly aggressive. Thus, they were restricted.

I have never claimed that the DPR Korea is a "socialist state"; as you might have noticed, I am a Bolshevik-Leninist and think that the M-L theory of "socialism in one state" is absolute nonsense. It is rather telling that you can't tell the difference between Trotskyism and "Stalinism".

Again, you don't want consistency. As you admitted one message ago, you want to appear "respectable" to the liberals. Fair enough. But don't expect anyone else to care about that, and stop trying to force your support for liberals on this site.
  7. Others, including my 'umble self, hold that the DPR Korea is a workers' state due to the nationalised, planned economy, the monopoly on foreign trade, the absence of other social classes etc. This is besides the point. The point being that most of the members here couldn't care less about your "credibility". We don't want to cozy up to the liberals; we want the liberals to go to hell. If you want to fawn over the liberals and tail their reactionary policies, you're free to do so. But stop trying to fit the entire forum in your CPUSA-issue straightjacket.
  8. Members can be banned for revealing personal information, trolling, general disruptive behaviour, misogyny (except "pro-life" flakes, which is an exception I oppose), homophobes, racists or fascist. I fail to grasp how any of this is "far less" than being a Jucheist.

Jucheists are not banned, they are restricted. That said, there are no Jucheists on this site. No active member supports the ideology of Juche or Kimilsungism. Certain members support the DPR Korea as a socialist state, but this does not mean that they support the official ideology (it only means that they support the material conditions that exist in Korea).

    (continued)
  9. If you really want to report someone for holding that the DPR Korea is a workers' state, report me. Or is this little anti-"Jucheist" (in case you haven't noticed, there are no Jucheists on RevLeft) crusade of yours restricted to empty threats and blustering?

I'm not actually a Jucheist insomuch as I don't mythologize the Kims. Do keep in mind that I actually do support the D.P.R.K. to the extent that it resists U.S. aggression and that I do support the north Korean people in the endeavor to build socialism, however diverted it my be. I don't find the D.P.R.K. fascist, in that fascism has a very specific history and class character; the Workers' Party isn't petite bourgeois, it's national-bourgeois. I can't condone the oppression of the non-propertied classes by the national bourgeoisie, but I also can't condone imperialist aggression in any of its forms.
