Rational Radical

I think it has to do with the way RAAN views itself: It sees itself as a network I believe which is a rather loose organizationally. I guess, but I'm only assuming, even a person can be an "affiliate." There used to be some members on here who are part of RAAN but I believe most are gone now.

RAAN is very controversial though, particularly their strong anti-Leninist stance to the point that some chapters have allegedly attacked Leninists. I don't exactly agree in actively doing that kind of stuff although I do agree with their anti-Leninist stance more or less.

For the alliance to work it would have to be a bit loose.

It's possible for it to work but there will always be a some within each respective grouping who does not want to do an alliance, at least not in that way. It's up to the individual radical. There's one organization from the US I think that tried to be a network of non-Leninist leftists called RAAN, although they were probably more anarchists than left communists.

I'm in favor of an alliance of the non-Leninist 'Marxist-influenced' left; wouldn't mind seeing a loose international along those lines.

I saw some thread where you touched on things concerning consciousness and the roles of us communists in class struggle and revolution, so I thought I'd share this with you. I don't accept everything in it, but IMO it makes for a strong critique of the pro-revolutionary left.

There are more than enough threads on here discussing Stalin, id actually hazard a guess that there are hundreds throughout the years so if you really are sincere about understanding a Marxist-Leninist position with regards to Stalin I suggest you read them.
I could also point you to some good resources, that is of course if you really are interested and not just looking for a flame war.

No the majority of Americans aren't conservatives they're just apolitical and distracted by our capitalistic/consumerist/materialist culture but the fact that something as barbaric as conservatism still exist in American culture/politics says alot about the good ol USA.
