I have to ask though (which i find strange a bit) how does Stalin define communism, because it seems very abstract to me as to what he actually defines communism as, i never really understood this.

Oh yes, i have read Karl Marx, one of the first i read of Lenin. I have *skimmed* through Stalin's "Economic Problems in the USSR" and read "On the Question of Market Socialism" but not yet this book you mention, will look at this. One thing i found interesting was his saying that 'the relations of production goes hand in hand with the increase of the productive forces' which i found interesting to clear up.

I just wanted to say that I really appreciate your posts. I'm still undecided on which tendency I subscribe to, other than I lean heavily towards Leninism, but it's nice to see a fresh Marxist-Leninist voice arrive during a time when it was almost totally drowned out.

So, PM your position. I don't know mine yet. All I know is that I would not support a part of America trying to separate from a Socialist America.

I think what turns people off is the terminology you are using. I don't think the word "nationalism" is the correct term to use in such a context and it really makes even Marxist-Leninists feel uncomfortable. We don't want to look like a bunch of nationalists, because we are quite the opposite.

Maybe we should talk later about separatist and liberation movements and our thoughts on them.

To wait until the toiling classes bring about a revolution on an international scale means that everybody should stand stock-still in expectation. That is nonsense.

V.I. Lenin, May 14, 1918.

... [T]he relations of production must necessarily conform with the character of the productive forces ...

I.V. Stalin, Economic Problems of Socialism in the U.S.S.R., 1951.
