When it comes to leftist theory I have a long bit of learning to do, so I don't think I'll be picking a tendency any time soon.

Thanks for the compliment. To be honest I'm a bit hesitant to take to any particular tendency. I used to be one of those "but Leninism isn't real communism!" types but the more I read of his work the more I realize how thoughtless that sort of position is. And then I start realizing that the blatant anti-Lenin folk are the same ones who keep harping on about wishing to obtain some abstract "freedom" without being able to tie the word freedom to any concrete demand.

I tried to get my ducks in a row to respond to fears of communism, but the ducks resisted. They said I'm oppressing them and called me an authoritarian. They revolted.

Now I'm locked in a small cage with just a laptop and a slice of white bread. They said it's almost dinnertime.
