Well it really depends on what you understand by the German-Dutch 'tendency of Left-Communism. If you understand by that the left-wing of the KPD which was expelled and formed the KAPD then it's a different question from wether you understand the German-Dutch Left as 'councillism'. Also the positions of the Italian Left changed over time and diverged into various currents. Il Soviet and the left-wing of the PCd'I had politics which were slightly different to Blilan's which had politics which were slightly different from those of Battaglia Comunista, and the latter in turn had politics which diverged from those of Gauche Communiste de France. The politics of Bilan and Gauche Communiste de France were close to those of the GD left than the Bordigists and 'Damenists' (For want of a better word).

I agree with his critique of the Council Communists constant raising of the dichotomy between 'Leaders' and 'Masses'. Other than that it wasn't exactly Lenin's finest moment. I agree with Gilles Dauve that Lenin failed to comprehend the situation in Western Europe and was too focused on building instant mass parties in order to break Russia's isolation. Ironically, the strategy he imposed probably perpetuated that isolation even further.
