I've stored my notes on the first chapter here. I plan to formulate them into questions later. I should add that I have not made notes on the parts of the book that are outdated and have been proven to be false (aborigines being homo erectus, for example).

I agree. Afghan law makers also took away rights from women, a few days ago, for religious reasons. It's going to be violent in a lot of places.
