Ultra lefts in words, but rightists in deeds. This is why I focus on their activities as soon as they start talking bullshit about real revolutionaries. In countries like India, Maoists are known as the ultras and a worker rarely even knows who a Trotskyite is. I call them ultra-lefts because that is kind of the accepted terminology here.

Ah yeah, I remember you saying you weren't really into C93 anymore. Do you like any of the coldwave/minimal wave bands from France, Belgium, Germany, etc.? Might be too new wavey for you, I dunno:

Dunno, doesn't seem like it. I'm not really a fan of theirs anyway. Do you like Nature and Organisation at all?

How are you defining 'pre-revolutionary'? Intermittent riots every few years (while these are positive step forward from the perspective of Marxists) that are unconnected to any wider struggle do not meaningfully threaten the existence of capitalism in the long run. It is not quite the same as the working class organised autonomously of capital, in its own independent interests. The weakness of current far-left groups is a reflection of the current weakness of our class. By the way, I was sort of joking when I thanked that post you made about the CWI, I have not suddenly become a Maoist or something like that, sorry!

Meh, as far as I know, they are more "Fun-Punk", which I personally hate to the core (eg. lots of songs celebrating "asocial" lifestyles, songs celebrating drinking lots of beer and doing nothing, deeply apolitical shit). How come you know all these bands though?

hahaha WIZO, yeah. damn it's been so long since I listened to Deutschpunk, it was like the big thing for me between 13 and 15.

Why thank you. It's too bad you can't post on there. How's the whole thing with your restriction going? Have you at least been given a reason yet?

Lol. Np. Found it on a website about the mentioned "mg", which had a rather interesting political stance by the way: they embraced certain ideas of Mao (notably what he had to say about Imperialism and Guerrilla Warfare), but completely rejected Stalin (citing Trotsky's polemics against him).
