I hope you can understand the context of our exchanges. I only said "fu*ck you" etc to him as a response of his statement about "murdering my effete ass in cold blood". I don't believe in the religious ethic of "turn the other cheek" but the revolutionary ethic of "fighting reactionary intensity with progressive intensity". If you actually read some of the things he says (at one point he almost justifies for the fundamentalist belief that the vast majority of humanity will go to eternal hell), you wouldn't want to stand on his side on anything.

However, I would advice you not to take the side of Conquer of Die against me (or anyone else for that matter). I think he was restricted due to transphobic attitudes, and he is not progressive at all. I just said that in a socialist society religions must never support capitalism and feudalism, must always treat everyone equally regardless of race, gender or sexuality, and must be open to scientific criticism, and he got angered by that and actually said he would "murder me in cold blood" for it. Someone who says that kind of thing as a response to my progressive points about socialist religion can only be a reactionary.

I am a firm materialist but I'm not a militant atheist in the bourgeois sense. Because as Marx said religion is "the spirit of an unspiritual world", so without changing the conditions of class society, religions will never go away. So I don't have a problem with progressive religious people like you.
