I think the best would be if you have friends here, to come and visit them and stay in their homes, visit parts of the country without any sort of guided tour which is intended for another type of tourism (and handled by private companies that would dry your pockets in no time).

About social tourism, i have heard of that a couple of times, especially when there is some international event the delegates are often taken to various places where they can see the social experiences and projects going on, but I'm not sure if there is a permanent tour of sorts, would be best of you come with in group to study the Bolivarian Revolution and its social experiments.

The misiones, yes, the health related ones attend people from anywhere in the world, and you should try in the embassy where they should take your case. If the embassy is not helpful, try coming as tourist and present your case here (by going to one of the Barrio Adentro facilities).

Vale, estoy escribiendo a ti por que entiendo que tu eres un / una Venezolano/a. A mi, estoy haciendo un ano sabatico, trabajando para ganar dinero para viajar.

He llegado a la conclusion que me gustaria ver Venezula. Pero no es tan facil para la gente del oeste a ver venezula en la manera que me gustaria. existen mucho ayuda para ser tourista (las playas, buen hoteles ect ect) pero yo preferia ser una viajador, una tourista socialista quizas (?existen?)

ademas, existen en inglattera muchas programmas para anos sabaticos. me gustaria hacer eso, pero sin pagar todo mi dinero a una compania rico. en venezula existen "missiones" para ayudar a los pobres, verdad? ?estas psoobiles para extranjeros a participar con estos missiones?

pues, tengo muchos preguntas sobre tu pais, y si tu puedes ayudarme con estos, seria genial.
