I feel I know Marxism fairly well. I agree with you that existensialism is not opposed and can be complementary to Marxism. I don't yet have the tools to express this as well as I would like. I've been concentrating my reading more on economic theory; declining rate of profitabiltity, etc. I need to have more of a background in academic philosophy. I'll help out as much as I can though. Even Marx's conception of value has a lot of philosophical implications.

Agreed. I love Nietzsche's style of writing in all of his works. The preface to the Antichrist is amazing. I read it when I'm depressed haha.

I can't find any contradictions per se in their programs. There's things that might not fit together great like the PSL "we stand for defense of the existing workers' states" vs. SA's "We believe the dictatorships that existed in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe were perversions of what socialism is really about." But really this is a trivial difference, considering that Eastern Europe hasn't claimed to be socialist in 20 years, and SA's orientation is still anti-imperialist.

well I'm at-large as a PSL-er because they don't have a presence in my state, so beyond promoting Liberation (the newspaper) there's not much to do. The CWI does have a presence here though so I "enlisted." I mean, they're both doing pretty similar things.
