yeah. well commodities in general. gold is only so valuable as a commodity, as an exchange value; its use value is not so big. if the economy is based around use values rather than exchange, gold would not be so precious

I'm actually a 370 year old Wizard. I participated in the Diggers movement during the Enlish Civil War and found an elixir lying around that gave me eternal life. Since no-one wants to talk to a guy who can remember and ramble on about practically all the major events of the last few centuries, I've spent most of the time in a cave reading up on Communist theory.

He'll probably wise up eventually and decide to swim across the entire world to get to Antarctica while I sit here cozy and dry in America.
