Yeah, the left is incredibly fragmented. I can understand peoples' questioning of the NSSN, even I did myself. But it's important to remember that trade unions need to lead the fight in the anti-cuts. All opposition didn't put forward a decent enough argument. Most were direct attacks at SP, the SWP even tried saying there's already an anti-cuts movement, and that it's the RtW.

SWP have very little influence in Brighton, but we work very closely with them, and have a good relationship with them. We do question a lot of their positions, lately they seem to defend labour a lot, and an insist we must have them on board in the fightback. But yeah, there's some decent individuals.

Syndicalism is a fascinating subject, and it's something we've been speaking about at branch meetings anyway - and inviting outsiders for their own ideas and etc IMO is very healthy, and helps build relationships which could eventually squirm some sectarianism otu
