In my opinion I really don't see any point in overturning smoking bans. Smokers cost taxpayers lots of money and the tobacco companies make money out of killing people slowly with addiction. Any real socialist who cares about the many and not just the few and wants to destroy capitalist greed will agree with smoking bans. As for the war on drugs, the people who make and sell drugs are making lots of cash while doing little work and degenerating communities with drugs. Anyone who calls themself a socialist is, as you said, really just an angry young man with issues.
No problems.
Hello there! I don't support any action of the capitalist government, especially the so-called war on drugs. This leads more to the persecution of poor/unemployed workers and minorities than to the reduction in drug-use. Education and rehabilitation are better ways of dealing with the "drug problem". Its like prohibition, which did not lead to reduction in alcoholism, instead led to an increase in crime. Also see this interview by Chomsky: http://www.chomsky.info/interviews/20020208.htm Just my two cents
Oh! It makes more sense to me now.
Air pollution? Sounds interesting... Is there a difference between free marxist and anarcho-communist?
