I mean, I wish she would've elaborated a lot more on that, since the way she phrased it was kind of vague. We support the Iranian Revolution of 1979 as an anti-imperialist revolution and uphold it until progressive forces can replace it; ideally through a socialist revolution. I don't think we necessarily 'support Ahmedinejad' in such vague terms, but we uphold him as an anti-imperialist and a defender of Iranian self-determination. Thus, we defend him and Iran's self-determination from imperialist attack and slander.

We acknowledge Ahmadinejad's presidency because there is really no proof of any fraudulent activity during the election. A couple members of the PSL actually went to Iran to observe the protests and talk to people and they found that in wealthier areas, people supported Mousavi predominantly, whereas working class and poor areas were completely in support of Ahmadinejad. The PSL believes that the destruction of the Iranian Revolution, unless done by proletarian forces, would lead to imperialist powers having the ability to finally stake a claim to Iran like they've been seeking to. The imperialist media supported the demonstrations, so that shows their intent. It's obvious that the imperialists support the protests and the destruction of Iran as an anti-imperialist state and the outcome of such an event would be horrendous.

American Party of Labor

It has real world organizers in the United States through the American Party of Labour ( An HU member party).

HU members in other countries work through other parties usually (ie. even though I'm the HU general secretary, I live in Canada where an HU collective doesn't exist).
