There's no way they're paying $5-10 per round though.

Yeah, I definitely don't think it's enough to detract from your point, which correctly pointed out the logistics of warfare, so I didn't post it in the topic, where it would seem to imply otherwise.

Hey, this is really beside the point, so I didn't bother posting it to the thread, but you can actually fill a 30-round magazine on an AK for $10.

Hey, on Wahhabis, check out this article by Common Cause:

Scroll down to "II. Islamophobia: White Supremacy’s Leading Edge" if you want. I don't agree with all of CC views, obviously. But it's pretty clear where the most reactionary forms of Islam world wide can be linked to.

Of course. The gym I had was well under 50 usd a month and it got me out of a bad spot health-wise. Yeah, that kind of monthly payment is a lot of money but the other side is I have no internet, no car, etc.. I think that's the same for a lot of people. You see a nicer car or, after not having a car for close to a decade, any car at all, and assume that the person is well off. The reality is much different. It's why without a gym membership now I will have 3-4 monitors and about as many computers not counting phones and other things like that. Those of course are set up on plastic folding tables at a place I'm still not sure about. I don't think that intentionally denying yourself things as a movement or group creates an apperance of humble frugality. It isn't worth dick and just looks pretentious. It is imo the scene garbage that you refered to in your op.

The workout thread tops the forum because people post in it daily since working out and other fun activities is a near daily way to raise our quality of life. As you mentioned everything costs money so I am unsure of your point.

Political Statement
The LDS Church is powerful enough in Ogden, Utah to order roads around its new temple repaved even though the pavements were not very old. They, or rather the city council acting amid unacknowledged pressure, also banned "panhandlers" while citing "traffic safety issues" rather than a truthful "image of downtown near temple" as reason. Why? Despite an establishment enjoying a hammerlock on local affairs, is there a perception of insecurity ghosting the windows overlooking their estate and tenure? Hatshepsut, incidentally, took on male iconography as Egypt's only long-running female ruler because the Egyptian concept of kingship did not countenance a regnant queen, or provide any symbols describing such a thing. There was, however, no equivalent of continental Europe's Salic laws to prohibit a woman inheriting the throne--an example of contradiction within this ancient society. I may be getting too old to participate in political agitation at this point. This doesn't mean it's too late to explore alternatives to the present western system of governance in the event that it fails, a possibility that seems to be growing more likely.
