Hey I noticed that you commented on my wikiwars thread and I'm curious if you actually read any of the posts in the thread because the questions you raised were already answered.

Hello. I just wanted to tell you that your list of books in your consolidated learning FAQ in the learning section has been an immensely helpful resource for me. I have put a lot of them on my "to read" list and have read some of them already. Thank you for all the helpful information in my study of history, economics, philosophy, and the social sciences in general.

I see you're interested in getting involved in Ben Seattle's leftist news project. I'm not very clued up on internet software and whatnot, but if there's anything I can do to help then feel free to PM me or message me or anything. Thanks comrade.

Do you think that the idea of class struggle has become rather confused and muddled?

The way I look at it is that "we wage war on class" i.e. the system and not "we wage war against classes, i.e. singling out people because of the accident of their birth". There's a fine line between the two concepts. Obviously people who promote the class system are more likely to be from the classes that have benefitted and fall into the category of opposition, but notice the words "more likely", not definitively!!!

It's a bit like separating smoking (bad) from the smoker (human)!!! They are linked but not de facto the same.

I see that a lot of people around these parts have a rather inverted-snobbish way of viewing the class struggle. I find this saddening because they then proceed to self-conform to class-stereotypes that are imposed on them from others and thus inadvertently contribute to the system they wish to bring down. What do you reckon?
