The Internet as inherently idealist intrigues me. I must weigh this against the fact that he tendency which I support has no physical newspaper, just a website.

Okay, got it. I guess I misinterpreted your "My God" as calling me a Nazi

  8. Yes I did. I'm not sure what your point is. It's a fairly simple question that doesn't compromise your anonymity. I'm interested in your political background and the perspective from which you are coming from on the ground. If divulging that information did compromise your anonymity, wouldn't having your tendency listed as 'Marxist Leninist' do also?

Also, the fact that any biographic information can not be verified is not really interesting or significant. Do you have some sort of motive for lying about your political affliation? I don't see why you would.
  9. Hi Janine. You list your tendency as 'Marxist-Leninist'. Your organisation field however says "This site is for purely theoretical and entertainment purposes only" (what ever that has to do with anything). Are you a member or symapthiser of a particular political organisation?

I hate to have to agree with you. I am an unsufferable piece of shit; the the most imperfect person I know. But I'm trying not to be one.

    Take care.

About Janine Melnitz

Basic Information

Biography
Biography is irrelevant on RevLeft
Location
U.S.
Interests
Do you ever read prolier-than-thou arguments on the internet and think:
Occupation
"They could be lying. About their class, about their age and sex and political affiliation and race"
Political Statement
I'm not saying you can't interact with people as people on the internet. But on RevLeft? Unless you find someone in your town to ally with, what's the point? We're materialists, for the most part, so we know that lived experience is important -- but here, biography is reduced to a fictional weapon for petty "debates". I care what class, race, sex you are, I care what party you're in and how active you are and how badly you've been roughed up by cops if, and only if, I'm deciding whether hook up with you, politically or otherwise.
