when i first came on i was a bit of an arrogant prick who thought they new everything. I posted some stupid thread saying capitalism wasn't that bad (although i did point out during the thread that i was not in support of capitalism) then i got restricted. Eventually i think people realised that it was a bit ridiculous me being restricted so i was unrestricted.

Basically because i was a prick. Any reason why?

Point 3 in Part One is especially relevant for the question of resource distribution, particularly this part:

"What we have to deal with here is a communist society, not as it has developed on its own foundations, but, on the contrary, just as it emerges from capitalist society; which is thus in every respect, economically, morally, and intellectually, still stamped with the birthmarks of the old society from whose womb it emerges. Accordingly, the individual producer receives back from society -- after the deductions have been made -- exactly what he gives to it."

If you want to learn a bit more about how a post-revolutionary society would operate, Critique of the Gotha Program is a good choice. It's widely seen as an interesting and important text, because Marx is notorious for not offering many details on what communism would actually look like, but in this text he does offer some suggestions.
