Ha, how did you know? No, unfortunately I have to work on Saturday evenings (and Sunday nights... like right now) so I wasn't able to make it this year. I would have skipped-out, but I'm kind of on thin ice at work right now. Did you go, how did it compare to past years in your opinion?

In the gubernatorial debate Peter Diamondstone was in back in 2008, he suggested that secession may be necessary in order for his/Liberty Union's programme to be implemented, should he be elected governor. So I don't know if his position would be "independence first," but he definitely sees it as an option.

he's in the SP-USA and the Liberty Union Party. I read an interview in 2008 where he said he supported Vermont independence.

On the subject of tracers. They have the big disadvantage of giving away your position too. A long line pointing to you kinda does that :P
