1. "Actually existing socialism" was a Brezhnevite concept denounced by the Albanian government.
2. Albanians actually supported Hoxha's government from the 1940's into the 80's. From an anti-communist source: "It is important to remember that he was the only dictator in Eastern Europe to have enjoyed wide-spread popular support, and the cult that grew up around his personality was not only the fantasy projection of his obsequious colleagues in the Central Committee of the APL but also partially an expression of popular attitudes." I've just finished movie. It was fucking good. Thx. Usually gore movies are just fun, but you know that they suck from point of stroyline and stuff like that (like Dead Snow, for example), but this movie just has "something". I've really liked it. "Mother" character is fucking bad ass. I love her voice, looks, head gestures, hair style(s) and at the end of the movie her madness... from 1-10 I give an 8 to this movie!
