It's absolutely not your fault. It is mostly the fact that Link does nothing to confound expectations as a 15 year old boy.

Political Statement
I’ve been into revolutionary left politics for a few years now. I consider myself a revolutionary Socialist and Anarchist, advocating for the liberation of the proletariat through the international revolutionary overthrow of all illegitimate authority and social hierarchy (primarily the hierarchical state and capitalism, i.e, the bourgeoisie) in favor of an anarcho-communist society (avoiding a collectivistic transition) using the principles of Libertarian Socialism: anti-reformist revolution, self-management (free association), direct democracy, decentralized and autonomous internationally federated communities/municipalities and workers' councils/syndicates, etc. I'm also a Technological Utopianist: I support a future post-scarcity society made possible through the expansion of technology. I consider myself a Libertarian Marxist in the tradition of Antonie Pannekoek, Daniel De Leon, Rosa Luxemburg, etc - as well as a social Anarchist in the tradition of Mikhail Bakunin, Peter Kropotkin, Errico Malatesta, Emma Goldman, Noam Chomsky, and so on. I am very sympathetic to Anarcho-syndicalism, but also some non-syndicalist revolutionary strategies such as broader non-union organizations and some forms of (rational and moral) civil disobedience and Insurrectionalism.

As an Anarchist who views the state as a bourgeois institution but supports Marx's understanding of class and history, I promote the libertarian/anarchist interpretation and critique of Marxism (historical materialism and anti-authoritarianism working in tandem as justifications for communism). The terms that apply to me are:

Libertarian Socialism, Anarchism, Anarcho-Communism and Syndicalism, Left/Libertarian Communism, Council Communism, Libertarian Marxism, Impossibilism, Anti-nationalism, Humanism.

"[The variety of anarchism I support is] a kind of voluntary socialism, that is, as libertarian socialist or anarcho-syndicalist or communist anarchist, in the tradition of, say, Bakunin and Kropotkin and others. They had in mind a highly organized form of society, but a society that was organized on the basis of organic units, organic communities. And generally, they meant by that the workplace and the neighborhood, and from those two basic units there could derive through federal arrangements a highly integrated kind of social organization which might be national or even international in scope. And these decisions could be made over a substantial range, but by delegates who are always part of the organic community from which they come, to which they return, and in which, in fact, they live." - Noam Chomsky

"A federated, decentralized system of free associations, incorporating economic as well as other social institutions, would be what I refer to as anarcho-syndicalism; and it seems to me that this is the appropriate form of social organization for an advanced technological society in which human beings do not have to be forced into the position of tools, of cogs in the machine. There is no longer any social necessity for human beings to be treated as mechanical elements in the productive process; that can be overcome and we must overcome it to be a society of freedom and free association, in which the creative urge that I consider intrinsic to human nature will in fact be able to realize itself in whatever way it will." - Noam Chomsky

"[I believe] that some form of council communism is the natural form of revolutionary socialism in an industrial society. It reflects the belief that democracy is severely limited when the industrial system is controlled by any form of autocratic elite, whether of owners, managers, and technocrats, a 'vanguard' party, or a State bureaucracy." - Noam Chomsky

"We are convinced that freedom without Socialism is privilege and injustice, and that Socialism without freedom is slavery and brutality." - Mikhail Bakunin

"I am truly free only when all human beings, men and women, are equally free. The freedom of other men, far from negating or limiting my freedom, is, on the contrary, its necessary premise and confirmation." - Mikhail Bakunin

"Anarchy, when it works to destroy authority in all its aspects...when it refuses all hierarchical organization and preaches free agreement - at the same time strives to maintain and enlarge the precious kernel of social customs without which no human or animal society can exist." - Peter Kropotkin

"Bourgeois class domination is undoubtedly an historical necessity, but, so too, the rising of the working class against it. Capital is an historical necessity, but, so too, its grave digger, the socialist proletariat." - Rosa Luxemburg

"The Communists disdain to conceal their views and aims. They openly declare that their ends can be attained only by the forcible overthrow of all existing social conditions. Let the ruling classes tremble at a Communistic revolution. The proletarians have nothing to lose but their chains. They have a world to win." -Marx

"A consistent libertarian must oppose private ownership of the means of production and wage slavery, which as a component of [right-wing libertarianism], is incompatible with the principle that labor must be freely undertaken and under the control of the producer." - Noam Chomsky "The masses are the decisive element, they are the rock on which the final victory of the revolution will be built." - Rosa Luxemburg "When the people are being beaten with a stick, they are not much happier if it is called 'the People's Stick.'" - Mikhail Bakunin "Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our people have guns, why would we let them have ideas?" - bourgeois revolutionary Joseph Stalin
