Black Flame is a pretty good book. It's "scholarly"...lots of footnotes and references. I already know much of the theory in it, but some of it was new to me, as well...the book has an interesting section on the "insurrectionist tradition", which is a tendency I wasn't very familiar with prior to reading the book.

I don't exactly agree with how the authors define the "broad anarchist tradition", but the book is excellent in that it brings numerous historical anarchist objections to Marxism to the table, some of which I was previously unaware of, such as what Malatesta thought about concentration of capital (he and other anarchists disagreed with Marx over the extent of the concentration of capital as capitalism progressed).

Anyway, just thought I'd let you know, as you expressed some interest in it before.
