Hello, I agree pretty much with what's be said by Devrim and others on the BPP. Fortunately, in Britain at least, it wasn't, for a variety of historic reasons, a phenomenon the ICC had to respond to (we have enough problems of our own with the dead weight of the British 'labour movement' hanging over us). I found this interesting though: "there was even an Appalachian nationalist movement inspired by the BPP and Maoism" - any references, articles, books? I know some groups in the US saw white Appalachian workers as the only example of a white proletariat in the US but how they represent a nation? Morven
