What is the fundamental difference between animal liberation and "real struggles of other people" that makes one profoundly less significant than the other. I also didn't jump down anyone's throat. I don't think people realise that for animal libertationists the discussions and dismissive attitude towards the subject of animal treatment illicits the same anger and frustration that the discussions and dismissive attitudes towards gay and women liberation do. It seems inconsequential to people and so they make no effort to even attempt sensitivity, yet we are expect to be comradely and "inclusive" of people's choices. Well, no.
