Guevarist
Guevarism holds the belief that Armed Struggle can trigger a Revolution wherever a Government doesn't have the favour of its Citizens.
Guevarism believes that the focoism principle of vanguardism by cadres of small, fast-moving paramilitary groups can provide a focus for popular discontent against a sitting regime, and thereby lead a general insurrection.
Ernesto Guevara did not count on a Leninist insurrection based on cities as had happened during the 1917 October Revolution, but on a popular uprisings which would gain strength in rural areas and would overtopple the regime: the vanguard guerrilla was supposed to bolster the population's morale, not to take control of the state apparatus by itself, without any exterior help.Category: Tendencies: 26th November 2016 15:53

nihilist communism
We think revolutionary expertise, which bases itself in organizational certainty and theoretical rigidity, measures only pro-revolutionary fabrication, it has but one relation to actual social conditions, which is that it is wholly unable to escape its determinations. Predictions for the future are hypothesized out of past happenings mistake the very nature of revolution, which we all agree is an event that is precisely not conditioned by the past and is characterized as a complete transformation of humans existence out of the economic mode. If we cannot recognize the future in the present then we cannot decide which pro-revolutionary activity or value of the present should be promoted or carried through to the future. It is our contention that most pro-revolutionary activity extends existing conditions and acts to prevent the future. We think many pro-revolutionary rather enjoy the antagonism of capitalist society and the part they place by supporting a 'side'.
We cannot say for certain what is to be done. What we do know is that the past appears, in one form or another, in the present, before our eyes, and from this appearance of dead forms we can identify what we think is counter-revolutionary. For example we see that consciousness is a concept that has been consistently deployed in past revolutionary attempts and because those attempts all failed the concept of consciousness and its role must be questioned. Our critique of consciousness begins with our understanding of the failure of revolutions: we see that consciousness, as an organizing principle, has always been deployed by a certain section of the bourgeoisie which seeks to use working class muscle to gain political power for itself.
As an alternative to the consciousness, which is, of course, also a 'recruiting' model, we argue that once factories have been seized by workers and capitalist production halted then through the resulting crack opened up in the structure of capitalist society humanity may find it possible to assert itself for itself. We therefore see revolution in two stages: (1) the seizure of production by the working class in pursuing its self-interest; (2)the collapse of existing forms of power brought on by the contradiction of working class ownership. The collapse of established power will bring a new material base of human society into existence, drawing from this base the mass of humanity will have the opportunity to remake itself.

brief note on the purpose of this group:
my primary purposes in starting group are to assemble a collection of texts in the "nihilist communism" vein, or relevant to its critique of the pro-revolutionary milieu and to have friendly, informal discussions about those texts and the points they raise. to this end, although in the "tendency" category, this group is open to all who are interested.Category: Tendencies: 12th September 2017 20:14

Econ-minimalist
Economic minimalists are directed by adherence to the real economic process through the application of the scientific method in the study of socio-economics.
econ-minimalist principles
- continuous social progress.
- elimination of artificial scarcity.
- adherence to the real economic process.
- seeking to reduce economic theory to it's necessary elements.
- spreading awareness of the unifying theory of artificial scarcity.
- utilization of the scientific method in political socio-economic study.
- economy is a public utility whose intended purpose is to sustain a civilization.
- understanding the true nature of communism is to indoctrinate nothing except altruism.
- spreading awareness of the true economic condition of humanity as defined mathematically and by direct observation.
- communism should not be defined in ideological/political terms, or even ethical, but rather in a very simplified scientific and economic language.
- communism does not replace the "mode" of production alone, it is a complete restructuring of entire cities, items, transportation; any understanding less than this is archaic and misconstrues communism.Category: Tendencies: 28th March 2016 15:52
12 member(s)Latest Discussion: to understand artificial scarcity we have to first look at real scarcity.

Marxist-Leninists
Marxism-Leninism is the theory and practice of the Communists, who uphold the works of Marx, Engels and Lenin in the struggle for proletarian revolution, the construction of socialism, and the triumph of communism on a world scale. It is the scientific ideology of the working-class and its vanguard which accomplish these aims.
Marxism-Leninism bases itself on historical and dialectical materialism, taking into account the objective material conditions existent in each country and region. It supports just struggles against imperialism and neo-colonialism whose victories are guaranteed through the leading role of the working-class in said struggles. It supports internationalism as the guiding basis of the foreign policy of the socialist state and in the approach to inter-imperialist conflicts. Marxist-Leninists fight for both democratic and socialist demands and, where necessary in the world, carry out any bourgeois-democratic tasks in tandem with the uninterrupted move over into the socialist revolution.
The struggles waged by Marx, Engels and Lenin against all forms of revisionism, opportunism and reformism constituted both the defense of scientific socialism and its creative development, opposing both "left" and right-wing deviations.
The construction of socialism in the Soviet Union and likeminded countries provided a superior alternative to the capitalist system. The treacherous policies pursued by the restorers of capitalism constituted a heavy setback for the world working-class movement, but they could not reverse the nature of capitalism and the inevitability of class struggles for socialism under it.
Marxism-Leninism remains the ideology of the working-class by virtue of its scientific content and objective merits in the epoch of imperialism and the decay of capitalism.

Debunking leftists.
As the tendency name suggests, this group is for interested leftists to come together, dispell and find quick refutations of common myths surrounding economics, discrimination, Communism itself and other subjects that commonly appear in the discourse of modern politics.
If you get pissed off whenever you hear a comparison between Marx, Lenin Pol-Pot and Hitler, If you tremble uncontrollably at the words 'a way between extreme Marxism and Capitalism' or 'Good on paper but bad in practice', If you hate having to put up the constant conservative vomits who continuously explain to you how deregulation would increase competition and therefore worker's luxury of living, then this is the group for you!Category: Interests: 7th May 2018 06:03

Orthodox Trotskyism
Orthodox Trotskyism, so called by both adherents and detractors, is a political current within the broader Trotskyist movement that bases itself on the work of Leon Trotsky and his associates, such as James P. Cannon, who advanced Marxist theory in the direction indicated by Trotsky's work, in opposition to the revisionist theories of Pablo, Shachtman, Cliff and others. Orthodox Trotskyists emphasise the analysis, first outlined by Trotsky, of the Soviet Union as a degenerated workers' state, of the Stalinist bureaucracy as a contradictory stratum, and of the present epoch of the class struggle as being characterised by a deep crisis of leadership that can only be resolved by forging, on a firm basis, a Fourth International of revolutionary Bolsheviks-Leninists. This group is for adherents to the orthodox Trotskyist line, and every comrade who is interested in orthodox Trotskyist theory.
