  • Stress Free - Non-Competitive - No bullshit - Discussion

Revleft should be a fun way to relax and discuss politics, life, and so on. Revleft should not be a competitive sport for immature people to feel temporarily smart or vindicated. Sadly thats what revleft has become and this is intended to be a space apart from that.

In order to achieve this, this group is heavily moderated, anyone who is insulting or immature will be removed, either within this group or on the forum.

  • Revleft Press.

RAF: For a few months i have been toying with the idea of creating a paper, which would be made up of world news, poetry, literature reviews, write ins with some of the papers writers answering readers questions, and marxist contributors writing articles and such things.

All the money made would go towards things like palestinian aid charities, help africa, childrens organisations, BTW i am not a moron and know the paper would not generate a lot of money, but every little helps and i myself like writing and i am sure many of the comrades on here, who are much wiser than me do as well.

Would any of you like to contribute to the paper by writing on any number of topics, let me know if you would.

This may yet still be a pipe dream so it may not happen, but i hope this does not curb your enthusiasm.

    Thanks comrades

A group to defend the honesty and transparency that Assange upholds. Discussion of ways to defend Assange or help out the cause is highly encouraged.

We accept that while Assange might not be a socialist his work contributes to socialist change by exposing the capitalist government and now the corporations. He is the counter-point to the bourgeois media who will only reveal what is financially convenient for the capitalist aristocracy.

  • Enver Hoxha

A group for supporters of the line of Enver Hoxha.

"There is nothing unknown about what socialism is, what it represents and what it brings about, how it is achieved and how socialist society is built. A theory and practice of scientific socialism exists. Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin teach us this theory. We find the practice of it in that rich experience of the construction of socialism in the Soviet Union in the time of Lenin and Stalin, and we find it today in Albania, where the new society is being built according to the teachings of Marxism-Leninism.

Of course, as Lenin said, socialism will look different and will have its own special features in different countries as a result of the differing socio-economic conditions, the way in which the revolution is carried out, the traditions, the international circumstances, etc. But the basic principles and the universal laws of socialism remain unshakeable and are essential for all countries." - Enver Hoxha, Report to the 8th Congress of the Party of Labour of Albania, November 1, 1981.

  • Marxist-Leninists

Marxism-Leninism is the theory and practice of the Communists, who uphold the works of Marx, Engels and Lenin in the struggle for proletarian revolution, the construction of socialism, and the triumph of communism on a world scale. It is the scientific ideology of the working-class and its vanguard which accomplish these aims.

Marxism-Leninism bases itself on historical and dialectical materialism, taking into account the objective material conditions existent in each country and region. It supports just struggles against imperialism and neo-colonialism whose victories are guaranteed through the leading role of the working-class in said struggles. It supports internationalism as the guiding basis of the foreign policy of the socialist state and in the approach to inter-imperialist conflicts. Marxist-Leninists fight for both democratic and socialist demands and, where necessary in the world, carry out any bourgeois-democratic tasks in tandem with the uninterrupted move over into the socialist revolution.

The struggles waged by Marx, Engels and Lenin against all forms of revisionism, opportunism and reformism constituted both the defense of scientific socialism and its creative development, opposing both "left" and right-wing deviations.

The construction of socialism in the Soviet Union and likeminded countries provided a superior alternative to the capitalist system. The treacherous policies pursued by the restorers of capitalism constituted a heavy setback for the world working-class movement, but they could not reverse the nature of capitalism and the inevitability of class struggles for socialism under it.

Marxism-Leninism remains the ideology of the working-class by virtue of its scientific content and objective merits in the epoch of imperialism and the decay of capitalism.

  • Libertarian Socialism

    From WikiPedia:

Libertarian socialism (sometimes called social anarchism or left-libertarianism) is a group of political philosophies that promote a non-hierarchical, non-bureaucratic society without private property in the means of production. Libertarian socialists believe in converting present-day private productive property into common or public goods, while retaining respect for personal property. Libertarian socialism is opposed to coercive forms of social organization. It promotes free association in place of government and opposes the social relations of capitalism, such as wage labor. The term libertarian socialism is used by some socialists to differentiate their philosophy from state socialism, and by some as a synonym for anarchism.

Adherents of libertarian socialism assert that a society based on freedom and equality can be achieved through abolishing authoritarian institutions that control certain means of production and subordinate the majority to an owning class or political and economic elite. Libertarian socialism also constitutes a tendency of thought that promotes the identification, criticism, and practical dismantling of illegitimate authority in all aspects of life.

Accordingly, libertarian socialists believe that "the exercise of power in any institutionalized form—whether economic, political, religious, or sexual—brutalizes both the wielder of power and the one over whom it is exercised". Libertarian socialists generally place their hopes in decentralized means of direct democracy such as libertarian municipalism, citizens' assemblies, trade unions, and workers' councils.

Political philosophies commonly described as libertarian socialist include most varieties of anarchism (especially anarchist communism, anarchist collectivism, anarcho-syndicalism, and mutualism) as well as autonomism, Communalism, participism, libertarian Marxist philosophies such as council communism and Luxemburgism, and some versions of "utopian socialism" and individualist anarchism.
