This group is for discussing the Revolutions, and the current socialist state of countries all across the continent of Asia. These nations include from China to India. Nepal to North Korea. Kazakhstan to Laos. Vietnam to Mongolia. So one and so forth.
In my opinion I think Communism reaching Asia is one of the most, if not, the most important thing Communism has to do.
To quote CommunityBeliever:
"There are 1.3 billion people in China and there are 1.2 billion people in India. Combined together India, China, Japan, and Southeast Asia (collectively known as the far East) make up a fifth of the world's land area and almost half of the world's population. As such, there is a very high amount of impoverished peasants and workers in East Asia relative to the world. The concentration of socialist revolutions in Asia is connected to these material conditions.
There is also historical element as to why Asia has been subject to the most socialist revolutions. The first socialist revolution was in Russia, which immediately associated Asia with socialism. The main opponent of the USSR was the American empire, which actively worked to prevent socialism from reaching the Americas. In response to the success of the Cuban revolution the American empire nearly ended human civilisation as we know it through nuclear war.
Since much of Asia is still subject to semi-colonial and semi-feudal conditions the enlightening scientific communist contributions to Asia is most important"
This group is for every kind of ideology. Marxist-Leninists, Trotskyist's, Ultra-Left, and so on
