Sorry to interrupt you here as a non-member, but I wanted to remind you about your group's self-introduction.

Every group should work out a group introduction which can be posted in the group FAQ, so especially non-CC members know what the group is about and what it stands for.

The following two question should be answered within separated paragraphs :

    Who are we?
    Who can join?

In the "who can join" paragraph you should cover if you also want to allow sympathizers, just those who fully identify with the label of the group, or even just members of certain organisations in the group.

This would be an essential part to advertise your group on revleft.

    Thank you.

    Here's an attempt:

    Who are we?

We are Marxists of the Trotskyist persuasion, meaning that we believe Trotsky (and of course other genuine Marxists) was the person who defended Marxism against distortions of all kinds.

Historically the term "Trotskyism" has been coined to signify the distinction between Stalinism and genuine Marxism beyond the historical point of the USSR's degeneration.

This tendency has also been described as "Bolshevik-Leninism".

    Who can join?

Anyone who believes in Marxism as advanced and defended from distortions by Trotsky and other genuine Marxists, or anyone who sympathizes with that point of view, can join our group.

    Just added a little.

    Who are we?

We are Marxists of the Trotskyist persuasion, meaning that we believe Trotsky (and of course other genuine Marxists) was the person who defended Marxism against distortions of all kinds. We stand for the Marxist methods, tactics and traditions of the Bolshevik party, democratic and revolutionary. We stand for the reclaiming of Marxism and the building of an international revolutionary party, as set out in Trotsky's Transitional Program.
