Reading over this, I realise how much of a gobshite I was five years ago!
    How so?

I'm not currently affiliated with any Trotskyist group. I almost joined CWI a year ago but I've went from being 'meh' on the CWI to utterly and intractably hostile on account of their attitude toward Bernie Sanders' presidential candidacy and because of their position on police officers as being "workers in uniform". Likewise, I also briefly entertained the notion of getting involved with the ISO but I've heard far too many horror stories and I can't stomach 'state capitalism' as a theory concerning the class nature of the Soviet Union.

My politics are closest to the ICL-FI (aka the Spartacist League), but I haven't joined on account of not living anywhere near an area with a branch. I find them closest to Orthodox Trotskyism and as such that's why I figure they'd be the best fit for someone like myself. Unfortunately they seem to be withering on the vine as an organization, but I think that it's typically better to have smaller, but better, organizations with a potential for growth that large, directionless, vague pseudo-left social democratic outfits.

Kshama Sawant can feel the Bern, but seriously 'socialist greeting to Sanders' was pretty funny, especially when I don't recall a hint of SAlt criticising Sanders in their articles .
