    No, it means the eastern seaboard would have been a nuclear wasteland and there would be no gov't to surrender to the soviets.

    Khruschev was a vile slimy two faced opportunist. Intrigues and treachery are the only things he wasn't incompetent at.

    I got no beef with the Kruschsta. He done good work reforming the USSR and was a nice person
    Too bad he almost caused a nuclear war haha

    Krushnev made some wise domestic reforms, but his foriegn policy was not very good.

    He was a fool and betrayed alot of Marxism-Leninism and ultimately brough the ML countries facing each other if most werent in Revisionism. Eastern Europe was Revisonist and Anti-Revisionist. So no i dont like him.

    Krushchev was truly an opportunistic revisionist. I am personally a Trotskyist and as such oppose the Soviet system Stalin had set up as is, but all the man did was reverse what Stalin did, many of the things that kept the Union together which had long lasting effects leading to the dissolution of the Union in '91. I agree with his policies reducing the use of purges and so on, but in general his rule was marked with failure both domestically and internationally...
