DeLeonist Organizations?

Is anyone aware of any DeLeonist organizations that are active?

My understanding is that the SLP is almost-defunct --- closed office, stopped Weekly People, no activities

Minneapolis Section split off to become the New Union Party but then restructured into Campaign for Working Democracy but without a regular publication

I recall there was an organization in Canada but don't know the status

Any word about SLP, SLP schisms or successor DeLeonist orgs?

I hear they are still active on myspace and facebook. Although I have no clue if this is in fact the case.

I would recommend checking these guys out. Here's their official website:

I also heard a while ago on these forums that a decent amount of remaining SLP'ers went into another party, but I don't remember which one. I want to say it was the American Party of Labor, but that is really doubtful. Maybe someone else knows...

Is anyone here part of the Campaign for Working Democracy? It is my understanding that they are active and continue in a DeLeonist-influenced form.

If there is no party, anyone interested in starting one? Even if it starts here on the web, it's certainly better than nothing, and we can work on local chapters.

The New Union Party became the Campaign for Working Democracy but I haven't heard anything from them for a couple of years.

In MN the only active Socialist organization appears to be "Socialist Alternative" which apparently started as a Trotskyist group but now appears to have become a broad-based organization willing and able to mount electoral campaigns (not DeLeonist tho')

There's been some activity on the public list for the Workers' International Industrial Union lately. Folks are talking about how to get organized.
