The National Anthem of the USSR, of course. including a different, faster tempo version that was on a 'Best of Communism' torrent. The Tankist March, a bit of a rarer, lesser known one, but it was awesome. Then the Sacred War, Farewell to Slavenka, and The Hyymn of Red October from the Hunt For Red October soundtrack.
The hymn of the USSR gets my vote, too
The Sun Set beyond the mountain is beautiful
USSR anthem Bolshevik leaves home Kalinka Saint War
Katyusha, bolsheviks leaves home, partisans song, and of course soviet anthem.
I presume that you folk know Paul Robeson's version of the Soviet Anthem in English? United forever in friendship and labour, our mighty Republics will ever endure. The Great Soviet Union will live through the ages, the dream of a people, their fortress secure. [Chorus] Long live our Soviet Motherland, built by the people's mighty hand. Long live her peoples united and free, Strong in a friendship tried by fire, Long may her crimson flag inspire, shining in glory for the whole world to see. Through days dark and stormy, when great Lenin led us, our eyes saw the bright sun of Freedom above — and Stalin our leader, with faith in the people, inspired us to build up the land that we love. [Chorus] We fought for the future, destroyed the invader, and brought to our homeland the laurels of fame. Her glory will live in the mem’ry of nations and all generations will honour her name. [Chorus] Enjoy - as I do! Oh, and I love this version of The Sacred War http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Y4_2Qa0QQs
