What made you leave trotskyism?

I am no longer a Marxist-Leninist-Trotskyist for many reasons. Namely, I no longer see the vanguard party as a vital tool in the Revolution as I once did. My opposition to the vanguard began when I noticed how authoritarians have easily used it as a tool to push their own agenda. I do not think the Trotskyists want this, but it will happen. Within the Leninist vanguard party, true Leninists (Trotskyists) will always fall to the dictatorial “anti-revisionist Marxist-Leninist” faction. Leninism also place politics on a higher structural level than economics. If an economic revolution rather than a political revolution is carried out, as Marx originally intended, then the political superstructure will fall soon after. Socialism will begin in the workplace, not the government.

    Trotskyism's like a gateway drug.
