Anybody know how Stalin is viewed in Georgia today? I'm not only talking about the stances of the government or politicians, but popular sentiments.
Old people often dig him, young people don't.
It's generally divided. There were riots in Georgia after the secret speech, as a side note.
There is a Stalin museum in Gori, his hometown, people seem to see him in a very positive light there.
His legacy is mixed but slightly more positive. Nevsky is right about Gori where he is still popular to this day.
