It's true! She was a member of the Communist Party actually and defended Lenin and the Bolsheviks. She saw that there were more people with handicaps that were workers working in dangerous conditions than were rich. This opened her to the idea of class division and the rest is TRUE history! This fact is left out of history textbooks and generations of kids are raised up on the sanitized version of Helen Keller's history! Another historical figure whitewashed!
