If you were to throw a revolution in the USA and you were in charge of it, would you want to be head of the new government or take a different approach? Why or why not?
Well, Through a Trotskyist perspective, I would be the "leader" But the real power would come from the people. I would probably set up soviets (small gov't councils) around the country. There would be strong (direct) democracy. The workers would own the farms and factories, not the gov't. I would lead the country, but the real change and progress would come from the working class.
