punk is never dead. its diy spirit kinda keeps it going even when there's no Clash or whoever rockin it in the charts
Punk's not dead, it's underground which is where it belongs. Are lots of people starting punk bands? Are lots of people listening to those same bands? Yes, which is why I'm convinced that punk is still alive, maybe even more alive than it's ever been.
