Does anyone one have any good material on the killing of Bukharin by Stalin?

I haven't really looked into that too much, but if I ever find anything I'll let you know.

While Bukharin was in prison, he wrote 4 works amounting to about 2,000 pages. One was a book of poems, one was an autobiography(which he hadn't finished by the time he was executed), one was a book entitled Socialism and its Culture, and the last one was a collection of writings on dialectics and materialism. You might find some of that interesting. I have the one on socialism and culture scanned already, but I won't be able to get it uploaded to my website until next week.

I'm very interested in his earlier works from when he was a left communist, but these seem difficult to find.

Seems kind of strange that no one ever compiled his works into a collection.

Stalin had many of things destroyed. The reason it's difficult to find many pictures of Bukharin is because most were destroyed on Stalin's orders. In addition to the above mentioned works, he also wrote a book on fascism while in prison. It's referenced in his prison work Socialism and it's Culture, but apparently it's still hidden in the archives or Stalin had it destroyed. A Soviet official smuggled out photocopies of the manuscripts of the above mentioned works. The originals have never been seen.

His stuff from his left communist days tend to be the best, but hardest to find.
