I'm in the midst of reading this book, which I picked up from a great little bookstore when I was in Key West for my (same-sex) honeymoon. (BTW, Key West is a great place to pick up all sorts of Cuba-centric swag, if you're dorky like me ). It was written in the Seventies (published 1978). So far, it's pretty well written, and the author appears to have no ax to grind a-la-Cold War American authors (and authors to the current day, imo). He spent quite a bit of time with Castro personally. Anyone else read this book? Also, suggestions for other books on revolutionary/post-revolutionary Cuba?
