It doesn't accept MustCrushCapitalism as a username D: 1 letter too long
I don't think I can do anything about that.

    This.
Maybe it's a good idea to put the link in our signatures to spread it or something.

I have been trying to start a forum for MLs for some time, howeve,r there doesn't seem to be that much support for the idea.

I can make a skin and simple banner and add some codes to the boards (I have had a fair bit of experience with running forums) if anyone likes, and no I won't ask to be a permanent admin, would hate to muscle my way in!

Good luck with this. I'll sign up. I'll be GallowsBird or Angry Stalinsky (probably the former).

I would like if you'd help a bit with the forum if you want.

I just joined up, is anyone an Admin on there? There needs to be a few more sub-forums.

I don't think it's the best thing to do. Tendencies are of course annoying at times, but they are important for discussion and finding the truth of the matter and not getting ourself caught in too hard sectarian trenches.

I don't think people understand this. The forum is not meant to be a replacement for Revleft unless people want to personally do that of their own will. It's simply a place for discussion of Marxism-Leninism without trolls and moderators banning people for dumb reasons and somewhere to go if they get banned on Revleft.

The experiece I have had with boards that 'split' from revleft (WCR, Redstomp) is that the admins don't care so long as you do not advertise those boards on revleft. So it probably wouldn't be a good idea.

I was thinking of putting a link to the forum in this group's description; at least some of the other Admins/Mods think this is a good idea.

It would have its pros (spreading the word to many more M-Ls) and cons (giving it a higher profile for non-M-L RevLefters).

    Yeah.

Also, I want to implore everyone to not abandon revleft for this new forum. Yes, the tendency wars can get annoying at times and often just further entrench people in their own views as opposed to getting anywhere in the discussion. But we can still recruit new members and young radicals who aren't as firm in their views. I say this because I myself was once an unsure general leftist radical who was influenced by the intelligent anti-revisionist Marxist-Leninists of this website to look further into Marxism-Leninism, see its historical truth and revolutionary accuracy and to embrace it.

I agree with Siren, we should keep our numbers up on this site. I intend to stay here until I am banned at least. Yes, this place can get annoying (or usually is...) but we have actually helped many young leftists or people new to Socialism to find the right political ideology.

Also please remember to stay on this group! I think of the M-L forum as our "den" almost whereas Revleft (the boards and group) are sort of an outreach program... they are valuable.

I would also like to ask about IP banning on the new forum due to Stalin/karlmarx/ Stalin (again) continuing to attempt to troll around there.

Keep things us on revleft though!

Indeed. I love that this group has had a total resurgence of activity in the past few months.
