    What is i2p?

It stands for the Invisible Internet Project and started originally out of a set of patches for Freenet, back in 2003. From http://www.i2p2.de/:

I2P is an anonymizing network, offering a simple layer that identity-sensitive applications can use to securely communicate. All data is wrapped with several layers of encryption, and the network is both distributed and dynamic, with no trusted parties.

It also offers the ability to run socalled "eepsites", which are websites that can only be accessed if you're on i2p.

I've registered Revleft.i2p. Why? Because I can mostly and because I wanted to play around with the functionality. So far there is little on there besides a nice banner.
